What People Say

Most Liked

The pizza crust at Tony's boasts the perfect balance of thinness and crispness, making every bite a delight. Frequent visitors rave about the signature Tony’s Combo and the classic Meatball Sandwich, both of which showcase the quality ingredients that define this establishment. The nostalgic feel of the restaurant, complemented by the generational recipes, creates a comforting dining experience reminiscent of family gatherings.

The simplicity of the vinegar salad and homemade garlic bread enhances the meal, making them must-tries for anyone who visits. Diners frequently mention the warm, caring staff, adding a personal touch that keeps them coming back. Friendly interactions and attentive service add to the overall positive vibe, ensuring every visit feels special.

Most Disliked

While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a few diners mention their surprise at the limited selection of toppings offered at Tony's. For those who prefer more variety, this may feel restrictive. Additionally, some visitors find the pizza crust to be thinner than what they’re accustomed to, which can affect their overall experience if they prefer a thicker base.

Another point of concern is the busy atmosphere during peak hours, especially on Friday evenings. Those seeking a quieter dining experience may want to plan their visit for off-peak times, like lunchtime on weekdays, to fully enjoy the food and ambiance without the bustling crowd.

Tony’s Pizza – A Timeless Ogden Classic Tony’s Pizza in Ogden, Utah, isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a piece of my childhood. Every time I come back to town, it’s a must-visit for me and my family. There’s something special about stepping into Tony’s; the warm, welcoming atmosphere, the incredible staff, and of course, the unbeatable Italian food. The pizza? Perfection. The crust is just right, the sauce is rich and flavorful, and the toppings are always fresh. But let’s talk about the rigatoni—hands down, one of the best in Utah. Perfectly cooked pasta, the kind of sauce you dream about, and a flavor that feels like home. And then there’s the vinegar salad—simple, classic, and absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you completely satisfied, yet somehow always wanting more. Tony’s is more than just a restaurant to me. It’s a tradition. It’s memories of great meals, laughter, and family gatherings. Whether you’re a first-timer or a longtime fan, you cannot go wrong with Tony’s. If you’re ever in Ogden, do yourself a favor and experience this local legend.

Everytime I come up to Ogden I’ve gotta go to Tony’s. The purposely limited selection of toppings and nostalgic vibe inside are a great experience and very opposite of the common fast food pizza chains. The end of the crust is a bit thinner than most pizza joints so it’s a little different and it’s not overloaded on toppings which is easy to do these days. I really enjoy the homemade sauce and the cheese blend they use. Classic pepperoni is an absolute must for your first time but I’m a sucker for the olive options. I wouldn’t come in expecting a fancy pie but the pies are timelessly classic.

I’ve been going to Tony’s for a long time, there’s truly no better pizza they keep it traditional and delicious! The servers never pester around for tips. When I went, there was this nice young boy who I assume was a busier. I asked him if they had boxes and he brought one right out to me 😊 and he even asked how everything was and if we needed anything else and we had a great brisk conversation I can tell Tony’s takes pride in their employees! I love the energy that Tony’s exudes. 👍❤️

We’ve lived all over the US and honestly, there is no better pizza anywhere. Same quality and taste for decades. Whenever we come back to Utah, we go out of our way to eat here at least once. Do not miss it!!

My dad ordered a large Tony's combination pizza & he loved it. I ordered the cheese tortellini. The salad dressing was phenomenal. The meatballs were wonderful. I can't recommend this place enough! The staff were wonderful.

Tony's Pizza located at 403 39th Street in Ogden was the first restaurant style pizza I have ever had. That was more than a few years back. It was my favorite and I'll just say some decades later it still is. Tony's is a bit on the smaller size and is one of the few dine in pizza places that still remain. The atmosphere is cozy but it can get quite noisy at times. Some of the other items offered there include salads, breads and several types of sandwiches. They also offer take out, which can be either cooked or uncooked. This last time we opted for simple uncooked pepperoni pizza. If you need the correct directions for cooking their pizzas you can almost always find them with your order. There has only been one small issue with the pizzas we have ordered. They do tend to be a bit too greasy for my liking. This of course is a simple fix by dabbing it with a napkin or paper towel. Tony's Pizza is one of the very few places I am comfortable ordering from. If someone is in the mood for pizza I think this is an excellent and affordable choice.

Was recommended to this place by a local. Asked if I enjoyed a good meatball sandwich. Absolutely! Homemade roll. Amazing taste and flavor. Everyone on it included mustard, mayo, and ketchup. Absolutely tasty and reasonable price. Very impressed!
